I actually spoke to an artist about the possibility of getting this tattoo, but unfortunately they didn't think it would be possible to maintain the level of detail without making it pretty huge. I just love this though.

Yeah Its made to be a full back piece, Just remember to ask first before you just go off and get it tatted. It is a commissioned tattoo :)

Hi :D! I really like your lizard and was wondering if you could do a turtle just like it :) I want to get a tattoo and saw this and was blown away but turtle style :D! I was thinking of not filling in the white but a little black and the orange :)

If you're wanting to you can commission it. I'm working on a tribal turtle for the Blepharopsis set. It would be a $50 commission because of the time it takes from my regular job and the ink. If you haven't seen the second Blepharopsis tattoo you should because it is a traditional drawing and its the style I use most on tribal tattoos. If you are still interested just note me

I understand completely. I used to do it for free but now I can't afford to. I do a free art giveaway from time to time though so if you tell me what kind of turtle and the colors you like I may still do it as a free time piece and be the free art of the month :)
